Wine Naiara Malbec Reserva 2007
Deep, dark purple. Very expressive nose with notes of cassis, blueberry, cherry and hints of licorice and spice. These aromas are accompanied by elegant notes of oak combined with toasted almonds and vanilla making a highly complex bouquet. Ample and round in the mouth with dense tannins and a long finish. Varietal: 100 % Malbec. Vineyards: Up to 80 years old, located in Pedrano, Vistalba, Tupungato y Medrano (Mendoza). Hand-harvest: In bins, during the last week of March and first week of April. Density: 4000 plants/ha. Maceration: cold maceration for 5 days. Fermentation: 20 days and later maceration for 3 days (with natural yeast). Aging: In french oak barrels for a period of 10 months.
